Express Course: Crowdfunding for the Comic Creator

$29.99

Crowdfunding has been one of the fastest-growing segments of the comic book industry for more than a decade, but the amount of competition in the market and the amount of work involved in running a successful campaign can be overwhelming to even a professional comic creator. This course will explain how crowdfunding works on a business, financial, and legal level so you can focus on your campaign.

Comic book crowdfunding is currently the most successful type of crowdfunding, with millions of dollars being generated every year and even prominent Hollywood stars launching books on the platform. For many creators, crowdfunding is the first place they go to reach fans and get their book out into the world.

In Crowdfunding for the Comic Creator, Gamal Hennessy takes a step back from a specific campaign to help you understand the process and what you need to do to make your launch successful. The course introduces crowdfunding as a distribution channel, tackles the legal considerations for every campaign, breaks down the economics of successful and unsuccessful campaigns, and reviews recent trends that you can take advantage of. At the end of the course, you’ll approach your campaign with more confidence and more questions answered.

You’ll get:

  • Tips and Trade Secrets
  • Terminology
  • Outlines to plan every campaign
