Stephen Pakula

Stephen Pakula is a publishing professional with almost 25 years of industry experience in all aspects of book production, with an emphasis on comics and graphic novels. Currently he’s the Associate Director of Production at Penguin Random House, where for over a decade he’s been publishing English editions of world famous (and super cool!) Japanese comics and manga titles. Some examples are the Eisner Award winning Akira 35th Anniversary Box Set, Vinland Saga, Attack on Titan, Sailor Moon Eternal Editions, Ghost in the Shell, and the Final Fantasy art books. 

His years of experience make him the perfect mentor for anyone that wants to be a writer, editor or artist in the comics industry (and for manga creators too!). As a mentor, Stephen will diligently work one-on-one with you, offering personalized guidance to help you achieve your creative goals.
