Story Foundations to Finished Script Homework 2

Write a one page, double-spaced synopsis of the events in your story (this is a maximum – it is okay for the synopsis to be shorter than this). And ONLY the events IN the story.

A homework example is included under the Materials tab.

Tips and Guidelines

• Your synopsis shouldn’t get into motivations, we’ll have that from the bios. It should simply be the flow of EVENTS.
• This is still big picture, so don’t get into details.
• Avoid giving us backstory. Your backstory, by definition, is NOT in the story, so leave it out.
• Your first sentence should be the first thing that happens in the story and your last sentence should be the last thing that happens in the story.
